Many unique and local shops.
One section has air conditioning. There are public restrooms.
Very well maintained.
Picked up several "Charleston" items.

The market is set up in the same place as the Old Market and quite charming. It's hot in there, like it has been for over 100 years. Make sure you have plenty of time. There are lots of great items. It takes a couple of times through to find the treasures.

Take a nice stroll through the market. If you want something made here in the low country you can find it here. From t shirts to hand made sweet grass baskets.

It's an indoor/outdoor type market with a varied array of vendors. It was a very hot & humid day that we were there so we moved quickly through the market. There are a lot of other stores along the streets as well. It's an ok place to visit.

This is a must experience. If you are just browsing you can get through it pretty quickly being that you can weave in & out of crowded areas. There are great finds and most likely if you passed a table that you are thinking about the item you will see a similar item on your travels through the market albeit there are many duplicate tables. There is a nice air conditioned section in the middle if you need to cool off.
