“Hidden pleasure!”
Reviewed 9 May 2018 for a stay in May 2018

Wow! What a fantastic hidden gem. Dafydd & his family are the kindest, most nicest people we have met.
We stayed at The Blue Lodge, every room was spotless, the kitchen facilities were outstanding. They’ve really thought of everything!
We can’t wait to come back!
Thank you so much for having us

“Nice location shame about the electricity meter.”
Reviewed 3 April 2018 for a stay in March 2018

We enjoyed the cabin, it was comfortable. Very basic facilities. The problem being the electricity meter. We spend upwards of £15 per day to keep the place warm and the tv on in the evenings. I would stay again but in warmer months, when we could make the most of the outside space, without the need to keep the heating on. The location was very quiet and peaceful, we enjoyed hearing nothing but bird song.

“A wonderful peaceful stay”
Reviewed 20 November 2017 for a stay in November 2017

This was our first visit to the safe haven lodges, and we will be returning next time we visit family. The blue lodge was spacious, clean and warm. Dafydd was incredibly helpful and provided us with everything we needed for a fantastic stay.
I would definitely recommend this lodge to friends and family.

“Clean, comfortable, but a little cod.”
Reviewed 23 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

One of three lodges in a small village near Crosskeys. Selected this property because it is dog-friendly.Very clean. Comfortable sofa. Very well-equipped kitchen and decent range of TV channels. Log cabin style meant it was easy to keep tidy with no carpets to worry about. Only issue for me was the heating. Two very small wall-mounted radiators were not enough to keep the living room and bedroom areas warm.
Overall a very good family location for holidays between Easter and October but probably a bit too cold for a comfortable stay outside this time

Thank you for your feedback, I think the Red lodge would have been more suited to yourself as it only sleeps 2 persons, where the larger Blue and Green lodges sleep families of 5, and have larger rooms to heat.
May I take this opportunity to thank you for your custom, and look forward to seeing you in the future.
