What a pleasant surprise for such a relativley small, local zoo. Animal exhibits and grounds were well maitained. Giraffes could be fed from a platform. Wolve enclosure offered them plenty of space and shade.

Lehigh Valley Zoo is definitely a fun way to spend the day in nature. Easy to locate and the drive onto the property is perfect. Lots to see and do. The animal staff is very friendly and provided lots of information. Great family fun or even going solo is not a problem. Highly recommended this fun adventure for al.

Kids were bored quickly, Chipmunks running on fence generated more excitement than any zoo animals. It's not cheap and then they have the feed the animals scam. The charge you $4 for 3 pieces of lettuce to feed the giraffe. Or a small cup of nector to feed the lorakets. Forget about buying food there a hot dog is $6.50. was at Citi field in NYC a few weeks ago and a hot dog there was $6.75 so for a small zoo in the middle of nowhere only charge 25 cents less is crazy. The animals seem as bored as the kids. Go to a real zoo for about the same money.

Recently visited the Lehigh Valley Zoo. The zoo is the perfect size for both young children and senior citizens to enjoy. It is very clean, they have a nice assortment of animals, and lots of activities for kids. The snack bar has a nice menu of food items that are reasonably priced and a covered area with lots of picnic tables where you can enjoy your lunch. We spent a nice summer day leisurely strolling the pathways and enjoying the antics of the penguins and otters. In exiting the zoo (which is on a game preserve) we saw elk and bison which was an added bonus to our day.

Great for families and friends. The zoo has plenty of restrooms and a food stand. You will enjoy your visit as long as you don't get punched by the kangaroo.( not serious but you can go in the kangaroo exhibit with a staff member.)
