I stayed at Vessacks for the second time in 2014 previously in 1996. The views from the property are no less than spectacular and wonderfully positioned for walks along the costal paths to Lands End and towards Penzance. The Minack Theatre is just down the road with the beautiful Porthcurno beach. Unfortunately the local shop has now closed but the Beach Café is a good place to stop for essentials and a cream tea and pasty. There are 4 bedrooms - a double downstairs with views out to sea and a twin. The bathroom downstairs is a little tired and could do with being modernised. There are two bedrooms upstairs - a triple with 3 single beds and a room with double bunks. Each room upstairs has its own sink and lavatory and they share a shower room. Again the bathrooms and shower can be described as functional but nothing more and the loo brush was rather nasty! There is a power shower in the utility room which is good and the washing machine is a useful asset. The kitchen is well appointed and there are enough sofas for a large party staying. The little conservatory makes for a quiet retreat for readers and a telescope and binoculars for looking out to sea and bird watching. In summary I would stay again but the bahrooms and shower could do with some refurbishment.
