The food and staff was great on the outside deck but the room was horrible. We stayed in a "suite." The bar music echoed until 2 a.m. throughout the entire place. Spiders and cobwebs were everywhere. The chair in our room was broken. Trash and who knows what was under the beds. Simply disgusting. Will eat there but never stay there again!!!!!!!

Room tip: Wouldn't suggest any of the rooms.

The accommodations are very sub standard, the doors do not lock securely. You can not reach anyone unless you leave the room and go into the bar area where no one can help you anyway. It is not safe to stay there with doors that won't lock and a bar that's open till 2am so there is risk of anebriated person wandering into room. The beds are horrible. The management isn't available or reachable by phone. There is no cell signal in that area so you can't call for help if needed. Very run down. 72 hr cancellation policy so don't even bother to look. Go elsewhere.

Room tip: There is no good room.

An amazing great brunch on Sunday with 10 friends. We sat indoors but there is a beautiful outside deck area overlooking the Deleware River. The food is great, omelette station made me one of the best omelette so ever! Fresh carved Turkey and Prime Rib is fresh, tender and of the highest quality. Great fish, pasta and so much more. No wait, great service and all for only $14.95 ! Unbelievable!! Worth double the price at least. Great coffee and desserts too!! You can spend the rest of the day admiring the Roebling Bridge, just around the corner and the Zane Grey House which is a great historic site run by the Park Service! We will definitely go back for more but at the price it feels like your stealing incredibly high quality food!! There is a bar and hotel too!

Being that I had a vacation home nearby, I have come here for years for the food and the view. I haven't been back for about a year and when we're on a ride with about 12 friends we decided to take them there for lunch. We were a big crowd however about half of us had the brunch that was available. And half ordered off the menu. It took about 20 minutes to even get our sodas and we were so thirsty that we had the girl bussing the tables bring us water. it was close to an hour before any of the ordered food arrived and it was horrible. Our waitress was non existent the whole time and when she did show up she had an attitude. This place has definitely changed. And not for the better. I may stop in here for a drink again just for the view but I will never eat here again EVER!!!

We made reservations here because it was on a list of places to stay. We made an attempt at the other B&B's but they were all booked. We read some reviews that were negative about the restaurant on site but that turned out to be false. The portions, food quality and service was excellent. The accommodations were substandard. Upon arriving the receptionist said, "They told you about the music till 2am?" They had not and we were stuck. Bed was new in 1790.

The following night having paid the bill, we made reservations in Scranton as we were heading home the next day.

If you are under twenty-five years old, consider camping instead.
