Returned to find a newly decorated 1906, quite nicely done actually. Prices here have always been on the moderately high side but with very good quality foods. This visit we found a old favorite mushroom soup to be good but no longer a favorite. "Don't try to fix what isn't broke!" The very small but good single crap cake with a few sprigs of salad was hugely overpriced. There is a cafeteria with al fresco table for those who do not want to spend the big bucks. However if you want table service it is the 1906 and you will pay the price for your seat at the table. I do doubt that this restaruant could survive competition outside the gardens. Seems they are pushing their exclusivity a bit too far. Small portions big prices in the most lovely setting.

Had dinner here as a bit of a last night blow out as it is a bit expensive prior to watching the evening fountain show

Food and service where good, deck area is a nice place to eat and is covered to protect from rain and flying insects. It is a bit pricey though

Dined here prior to an evening concert and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We requested and received a patio table. The ambience was wonderful and the area quiet enough to enjoy conversation. Food was well-prepared, albeit portions were relatively small. A seasonal salad with fresh berries was refreshing. Steak and frites featured a small, but delicious filet. Wince was poured with a generous hand, which was welcomed since per glass prices were at the top of the range. Altogether, a great way to start a special evening.

Almost are year ago my rating would've been five handsdown! I have been coming here for years and love to treat myself to the 1906 restaurant at Longwood Gardens. I had gotten to know the people there and always told them how wonderful they were but the awesome changes that they claim are overpriced and have little variety . I don't understand why they take good thing and spoil it. I miss the way it was
Applebee's is close by and has a great menu
