Returned to find a newly decorated 1906, quite nicely done actually. Prices here have always been on the moderately high side but with very good quality foods. This visit we found a old favorite mushroom soup to be good but no longer a favorite. "Don't try to fix what isn't broke!" The very small but good single crap cake with a few sprigs of salad was hugely overpriced. There is a cafeteria with al fresco table for those who do not want to spend the big bucks. However if you want table service it is the 1906 and you will pay the price for your seat at the table. I do doubt that this restaruant could survive competition outside the gardens. Seems they are pushing their exclusivity a bit too far. Small portions big prices in the most lovely setting.
