Situated inside the Coolangatta Tweed Heads Golf Club, Danny's Buffet has an excellent view of the Tweed River and over to Fingal however, it is a shame the food is of such a poor quality. I do confess that I am not a lover of Buffets anyway however, the Prawns had no taste, the Calamari is covered in that much batter you can hardly find the meat and the Lemon Meringue Pie is only really essence of Lemon. If nothing else is open, give it a go!

After getting through busy Brisbane traffic during the late afternoon we chose to dine at Danny’s Buffet Restaurant. Non members $25.50 per head. Leaves for dead any Buffet I have visited before. Soo many fresh options to choose from for Non red meat eaters. While Hubby headed for the prawns I chose beautiful cuts of chicken breast. Also available & all for this price, chef to cook to your liking fresh fish and steaks. I chose Salmon fillet medium and was lovely. Too many desserts to mention. Staff friendly and the golf clubbalso friendly. Wouldn’t hesitate to visit again on my next trip through this region.

This place is always a pleasant experience! It's one of the cheapest buffets withgood quality for what you pay. The prawns, crabs and fish are fresh and the hot foods are good enough to go back for more. The dessert section is better than most buffets I've been to for the same price and the staff do such a good job at making sure your table is cleared, they are lovely. We have made it a regular trip to go at least once a week-fortnight.

A buffet style restaurant with plenty of choices of cuisine. Everything I consumed was tasty and fresh. Suggest arrive with an empty stomach so that you can try everything on offer, definitely won't leave still hungry. The restaurant decor is functional and the large windows have a good view to the nearby river. The only downside was the payment process, one cash register and only cash or credit card accepted. On a busy day, such as the day I was there, the queue was long and slightly tedious before reaching the cash register. If you have a booking on a busy day, suggest arrive about 20 minutes before the booked time. And suggest take cash to make payment quicker or be prepared to use your credit card. Once inside, plain sailing. PS, must sign into the club, so allow a little time for this also.
