Second time here, this time towards the end of winter and had a lovely stay. Room was warm, comfortable and well appointed with plenty of hot water in the shower. Place is a bit of comfortable rambling heritage that should be better frequented.

Room tip: Upstairs rooms seem to have better views and nicer aspects

Run and owned by a very strange man! We will never stay there again. My daughter was charged an extra night for leaving at 11.15, she was not even in the room, just her luggage, she was not told to vacate by 10.00am, (she had previously asked about the departure time but she did not receive an answer!). She was never given an invoice or receipt and she only happened to find out via her bank statement the following day. Neither of us were given an invoice or receipt on departure, which seemed very, very strange for a hotel. It was an over the phone booking, not online.

Stayed here on a cold August night. Fireplace was roaring and the place had a fantastic feel. Big lounges and a beautiful setting. The place is old and a bit run down but that is the character of it. Worth a visit.

Arrived mid week for work stay over and didn't book. 1 car in the car park and no one at the front desk. Finally called the mobile number provided. The fellow arrived stating all rooms where booked for the night. When I pointed out the lack of activity he was very rude.
The place looked beautiful shame about rude employees.

This was a nostalgic trip down memory for my wife who stayed here many years ago on a school excursion to the Riverina. This is definitely a throwback to a bygone era & most people would describe it as oozing old world charm. It is worth wandering around the premises to take in the historical features & feel of the building with the stained glass windows & grand architecture. Ideally located close to the town center & just short stroll to the shops & restaurants. The rooms were clean & comfortable without being luxurious & had there own en suite. Good value budget accommodation.

Room tip: First floor rooms have access to a large sweep around verandah which provide great views.
