As a Mercure and part of the Accor Group I was expecting a Hotel that would be a good place to stay for a couple of nights on the South Coast without having to find an Air B&B.
The room did not look like the web photo as it had two large beds and no chairs. As a couple we expected to have a lounge or area to place our clothes and relax in front of TV at night. We were advised the lounges had been removed as they were too old. OK but remove the photo.(They did supply two chairs for us) The adult pool was down a staircase and having had an accident I was not able to access the pool easily so was disappointed and did not want to try the children's pool which was large. The amenities were very limited and we requested and received a razor but no toothbrushes were available. I understand this hotel probably caters for families, hence the two beds. The property looked like it should be a great place to stay with tennis courts, a nice garden and lots of space, but the approach to the Reception and signage was old and appeared tired and in need of a upgrade programme. The restaurant did not look interesting so we did not try the food and found more activity outside.

Room tip: A room with a verandah on the ground floor is Best

If you are coming in from overseas this motel would be ideal. The motel is an L shape with a swimming pool in the centre. Beautiful country side sets the scene. The in-house restaurant is very expensive. The fish dinner for my wife was delicious although my chicken meal was small and not nice at all. Better off going to the Fisherman’s Club, a few kilometres south at Geroa.

This hotel has nice and clean rooms with comfortable beds and spacious living areas. (Superior King Room).
Two pool areas, including adults only pool. Grounds keeping average, leaves in pools and weeks could be seen around the property. Otherwise good.
Buffet breakfast, pricey at $20 per head but nice.
Would stay here again and would recommend to others.

What a dissapointment this stay was. Our superior king bed with sofa room was to say the least very tired and in much need of good makeover. With damaged walls to plumbing fittings not installed correctly . Out side the gardens haven't seen a gardener for a very long time. I'm sure we didn't get the quality room we paid for.
