What better way to celebrate a 50th birthday with your BFFs then a luxury getaway at Ayindi in Byron Bay! The house is simply stunning and so incredibly well-appointed. There isn't anything Lucy hasn't thought of from a well-stocked kitchen to the beautiful shampoos and fun little beach bags! And a short stroll to the beach or up to the lighthouse. We hope to be back and stay a little longer next time.
Ayindi was the perfect holiday destination for our family, with access to the beautiful beach at the Pass, walking distance to the Lighthouse and walking tracks, and an easy stroll in to town. Thats if you even care to leave the house, which was beautifully designed and had so many private hideaways to relax and read a book as well as a pool for a quick dip when needed.
We loved the place and the kids loved it to. Great views, plenty of wildlife in the water and nearby tracks, and a short walk to Top Shop for the best coffee and Acai bowls in the morning.
We would recommend this to anyone heading to Byron as the perfect spot.
Fabulously situated between the main beach and Wategoes in a quiet road, Ayindi provides for a perfect stay. Moments walk to the Byron boardwalk, guests can easily access to the town, beaches, restaurants or simply enjoy the local walks to the Lighthouse and Tallows beach whilst taking inthe magestic ocean views. Great exercise to climbing up and down the stairs!
The house is very well appointed, beautifully furnished and very relaxing. The neighbors are all a bit too close so the concerns about noise levels are real but that does work both ways.
Liz, the house manager and the owners work very hard to make sure the stay is perfect. All of our needs were accommodated and we couldnt have been happier. I cant recommend this property enough.
The house was beautifully designed with everything you need in terms of cooking, music, TV and going to the beach. We didnt need to bring anything. Right next to the beach and walking distance to the main street. It would be perfect for a large family.
We booked Ayindi Beach House for a work retreat for 3 nights in November 2017. First of all the location of the house is tucked away off the main road up to Cape Byron Lighthouse and adjacent to The Pass, with lot's of privacy and seclusion, but still close enough to walk to the beach, the lighthouse or into town. The house is spread out over 4 levels with 2 separate living zones, the 3rd level being the kitchen, dining, living room and outdoor living area. Below that is another large living area with a kitchenette and lounge room that opens up onto a patio and the small plunge pool surround by lawn and garden. On this level there are 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and laundry. The spacious master bedroom is located on the top floor with amazing views over Byron Beach. You can also enjoy these views from the 3rd level as the house has been perfectly designed to take in views from every angle. There is a 4th bedroom on the 2nd level with a powder room adjacent. Being a team of 8 women we all had plenty of room to spread out and relax. The house has absolutely every modern facility, with designer kitchen appliances, beautiful and functional furniture, fine pieces of artwork and little touches like beach bags and wet packs for the guests. It has a laid-back funky beach house vibe with a touch of class.
