Absolutely loved this place!

The staff were extremely attentive in every way. We stayed two nights, could not have been happier.

We stayed in room 11 up in the attic. This grand old house comes filled with history and charm.

This time of year meant that the restaurant was shut for dinner, but they served a lovely breakfast.

The room was perfectly appointed. The bed very comfortable and the bathroom with double shower and bath was perfect.

Highly recommended if you want that something special!

Stayed here for a night with my partner and am happy to say it was definitely worth it! Would highly recommend the Room (number 12) given the spaciousness and unique decoration. Being on the top floor additionally provided a great balcony view. In terms of the location, the Manor was 500 metres away from Ballina's main restaurant and shopping area, which meant the surroundings were very quiet and peaceful. Of particular noteworthiness was the Manor's outstanding service! After being stranded at 7am on Sunday with our taxi failing to show up for an airport run, the Manor Owner kindly took us in his Ute to ensure we didn't miss our flight. It was this level of care that saved our holiday and would definitely make us come back again to stay. Thank you Ballina Manor Team!

Room tip: Select Room 12 for the a balcony with a great view (top floor)

This boutique hotel has an interesting history, starting life as a girls’ school, and there is a selection of items from that time including a school magazine which is worth a read. Our room was room 7. On the first floor (no lift) but worked really well for my adult daughter and me as it was like a mini suite with the second bed separated from the other one. Staff are very friendly, breakfast is good and there is free wifi, good location of power points and a mini bar and free tea making.

Friends and I stayed here for our Byron Bay trip. Everything was excellent for this boutique B&B.

Location: the hotel is located on a quiet and beautiful street. Walking to shops and cafes (by the water) takes about 10mins. Lighthouse beach is also within walking distance. Byron Bay is about 30mins by driving.

Room and Facilities: It is very well maintained with old-days style but equipped with modern facilities inside. The garden is full of colourful flowers and lush trees.

Food: Breakfast is classic and very delicious. Dining area is very comfortable, and food delivery to room is possible for enjoying a lazy morning.

Service: Staff are very nice, but not in a commercial way. We felt very relaxed just like staying at home.

The amenities of a modern hotel combined with the charm of yesteryear. This beautifully renovated Manor gave my friends and I a memorable and homely experience in Ballina.

The service and staff were friendly and discreet. At all times, I often forgot that this was not my own residence. Highly recommend the breakfast set.
