Stayed 2 nights whilst touring from Sydney to Brisbane. It was a few minutes drive off the coastal route but made us realize just how much there was to see inland - we would have missed it otherwise. So a good location. Peter and Suzanne were very welcoming, great hosts, nothing too much trouble - great advice on tourist routes and things to see and do. Accommodation was clean and well fitted out and staying on a working plantation was a very pleasant experience. This was a fabulous experience towards the end of a great holiday. Highly, highly recommended. Hope to go back again!

An excellent place to stay for peace and quiet, very, very comfortable. A bit out of the way, you need a car, but lovely setting well off the road amid the macadamia trees - it's on a macadamia nut plantation. Hosts Peter and Suzanne could not be friendlier or more helpful. Peter just asks you what you would like to see and then he maps out an itinerary for you for the day or whatever. And Suzanne's breakfasts are just great with lots of home made contributions to the meal - her kumquat marmalade is tops - she'll sell you a jar if you'd like.
Absolutely recommended.

Spent two nights here with our adult son as we wanted accommodation quite near Byron Bay. The hosts run a macademia nut farm. We each had an ensuite bedroom with king-sized beds and shared a lounge area. We were welcomed with tea and home-made cake. There was also facilities to make our own hot drinks and complimentary chocolate-covered macademias. We also enjoyed complimentary wine.

Breakfast was served in the garden area with delicious home-baked bread and preserves, eggs from their own hens and even grapefruit from their tree.

Hosts are friendly and very helpful, providing us with maps and suggestions for things to see.
