“Superb relaxing retreat by the sea”
Reviewed 27 November 2014 for a stay in November 2014

A quaint little property offering a very relaxing and tranquil environment. The property was well kitted out with cooking facilities, utensilts and crockery.

I took my husband here as part of his 40th Birthday suprise weekend and he was amazed that I had found such a wonderful place to stay that was so close to the sea, he loved it. The propoerty was so comfortable neither of us wanted to leave. We would definately stop here again.

Compact and bijou!
An amusing place to stay and truly get away from it all. Very well thought out and clever use of small space.
The local pub was very friendly and offered nice food and company.

“A lovely little hideaway”
Reviewed 18 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

So small and yet everything you need is provided. Very well thought out. We were comfortable and happy. We enjoyed an excellent supper at the 5 Pilchards. We visited the Seal Sanctuary. We swam in the sea, very refreshing. We enjoyed the beautiful countryside. We had a fabulous breakfast at the Fat Apple Caffe. Best moment was walking the dog early on the beach and seeing the sun rise and three swans swimming in the golden light, so beautiful and peaceful.
Just one other thought it probably would be a bit tight for big people, we are 5 foot 10 inches etc. and it was fine but I wouldn't think my 6 foot 4 inches brother in law would be so comfortable. Also I probably won't return when older and a bit stiffer as you need to be good at getting up and down the ladder, my husband held on to me every time I was getting up worried I might fall down, it was funny this time but it might be more of a worry when we are not so agile.
