Lovely cottage in a quiet village outside of St Austell. Very well located for visiting local attractions such as the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan and coastal walks. Very helpful owners. Well presented and well equipped with a homely feel. Would recommend.

“Small but perfectly formed”
Reviewed 23 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

This cottage is lovely, a great view from the front over the local playing fields. Beautifully decorated with all the facilities you would need for a couple staying there. A great location near the Eden project and Charlestown. My Mum and I would both recommend this place and stay again. Tiny court yard at the back that you could sit and have tea in. I was really pleased to see there was tea and coffee and condiments in the cupboards. The only thing I would have liked in addition would be information on what can be recycled. Thanks again for a great stay.

“Lovely cottage in a quiet location.”
Reviewed 21 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

We stayed here for 4 nights in September 2014. The cottage is small but lovely, well equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable break.

The owners live next door, so are on hand to answer any queries you may have, or give advice on places to visit. The cottage looks out onto fields and a small stream runs by, a lovely peaceful location. Downstairs there is an open plan lounge and dining area, with a small, well equipped kitchen behind. A door from the kitchen opens onto a small courtyard area. Upstairs there is a lovely bedroom and bathroom with bath and shower. Everywhere is spotlessly clean.

The cottage makes a perfect base for exploring the area. The Eden Project is only 20 - 30 minutes walk away and the pretty village of Charlestown only a few minutes drive. There is a gorgeous beach at Polkerris with a nice pub, perfectly situated for watching the sun go down with a glass of wine.

We stayed here for 4 nights during a work trip to Cornwall. The cottage was well equipped, comfy with a homely feel. The owners were also very friendly and polite considering we were working very late nights and early mornings.
