We stayed here for 1 night after a disappointing stay at another hotel. The location and overall experience was excellent. For me the staff make the hotel and give it a really homely charm. Ive stayed in the area a number of times and i think this is definitely the top spot for people looking for a unique boutique hotel experience.

Stayed here for one night with my husband, sorry we couldn't stay longer. Everything from the staff, gorgeous room (with locally produced toiletries), the views, delicious breakfast - for us was perfect. The hotel is in a fabulous location just a water taxi ride from Padstow. Would highly recommend this hotel and location.

Great ambience and a deliciously constructed menu from ocean and local paddock to plate . Meals tasty but a little on the small size. Sensational coast views from every table with a reliable cool breeze

Recommended this restaurant by friends, but we couldn't understand it. Small and a bit like a nicely done out pub. Food was ok, but not great. Felt a bit like they were trying too hard but without the skills to see it through, eg hard 'brittle' grated over food - didn't match the flavours and it was just a bit silly! I had lamb which was overcooked and piled onto of soft sweet potato in a bowl, so it was really difficult to cut.

We have had some wonderful meals at the St Enodoc Hotel restaurant and this was the best so far.

We always get a very warm welcome when we arrive. We were shown to the terrace for pre-meal drinks on the terrace over looking the bay, as it was such a lovely warm summers evening, it was so perfect that we asked if we could have our meal there, and they said of course.

We both chose the roast scallops with squid ink, it looked like art on a plate when it arrived at the table - a wonderful balance of colour and flavour and a joy to eat. I then had the lemon sole which again was an accomplished dish. I always feel you get something special at St Enodoc, it is a ‘must book’ if you are in Rock over the summer.

Happy Holidays
