We stayed at Burrell House from 16th to 23rd of June and we had a lovely holiday. There were nine of us altogether made up of four generations, my parents, my husband and I, my three kids and a partner and my three year grandson!
The house was lovely and apart from a couple of little improvements, was perfectly adequate for our needs. A second coffee table wouldn’t go amiss in front of the sofas, anti slip mats could be added to the bathrooms ( I actually slipped on the wet floor in one of the shower rooms. I’m just pleased it wasn’t my 82 year old father who fell!) and the side on the jacuzzi bath could do with replacing. Lastly there should be either another dustbin or a wheelie bin. We soon filled the small outside bin much to the delight of some brass necked seagulls and jackdaws.
The beds and pillows were lovely and comfortable and we all slept really well and it was lovely to get up in a morning and have breakfast in the conservatory. I would be more than happy to recommend this property and would be happy to revisit the house at some point. In fact I would be quite happy to live there on a permanent basis. Thank you Mr Burrell, we all had a lovely break.More
