Lovely cottage, well furnished throughout. Lovely view from front overlooking harbour. Short walk down narrow lanes to harbour and village, bit more effort required coming back up but well worth it! Clear direction given to access property well in advance. No wifi available.

We’ve been going to Mevagissey for years but never stayed there. We were looking for a comfortable property with all the amenities, a view of the sea (preferably the harbour) - and all within a couple of minutes walk of the harbour itself.

Seafarers Watch ticks all those boxes! The property is clean and modern but it retains its holiday cottage charm.

The walk down to the harbour was great. Within a couple of minutes you’re there amongst it all. The walk back up, whilst short, needed a couple of stops to get your breath back because the little road winding between the old cottages is pretty steep but nothing to worry about.

The parking space is right next to the cottages and big enough for a large car.

The cottage has a small garden, which is pleasant but not the sort of garden the kids could really play in, more for you to sit out enjoying the sun, if that’s what you like, or to dry your stuff from the beach! It’s high up above the cottage – you access it via the steps outside number 3, once you're up there you'll see a gate behind the outhouse, it’s not obvious at first.

Three’s no wifi at the cottage, which is a shame, but if like me you’re a BT broadband customer make sure you take your BT Fon login details with you, one of the other cottages has BT broadband and shares their Fon signal. With teenagers it was a lifesaver!

The only downside for us was the building work going on at the property next door but one. Weekend was OK but during the week the constant noise and the trucks coming and going really took the shine off. If like me you live in a busy town and want to get away from the noise and hustle and bustle when you go away you should check that the work’s going to be finished when you plan to go.

Overall Mevagissey is a great place to spend a week away in Cornwall and Seafarer’s Watch is the ideal cottage to stay in.

“Probably the best 2 bed holiday let in Mevagissey”

We have just returned from our fifth visit to Seafarers Watch, (third with the current owners) and once again had a most enjoyable stay. You would be hard-pressed to find another two-bedroomed cottage in Mevagissey offering the combined package that this special cottage has, including a dedicated parking space on the same level and approximately 5m from the cottage door. This provides easy access without having to drive through the narrow streets of the village, which can be quite busy during holiday periods. The cottage itself is clean and well-appointed, with a spectacular view of the harbour and surrounding area. We will most certainly return again.

We have just spent a brilliant week in the Seafarers Watch. The cottage was very clean, well equipped and comfortable with excellent views over the harbour. A real plus was the parking space next to the cottage. I would recommend the cottage as a great place to stay,
