“Excellent views of Mevagissey”
Reviewed 8 February 2014 for a stay in December 2013

Mevagissey is a beautiful little place, the harbour is so picturesque. We were disappointed with the house, dont believe any of the comments about parking, believe me, unless you own a go-cart you will not be able to park in the parking space. There is an extremely steep drive and a very small turning area into the space. The alternative parking along the road is not acceptable when unloading luggage. The house was very dirty with lots appliances that did not work properly. Please be very aware of the dangerous stairs, especially if you are bringing children or older relatives, they are slippery with no hand rail and the bottom stairs protrude out into the lounge area. Very dangerous! Overall we were very disappointed with the house, the best thing going for it is the views. Definitely would look for another house if we stayed in this area again. A very disappointing holiday for us.

A fantastic home to rent if you need to get away. The evenings are peaceful and the views are beautiful.

The house itself is off the road and if you don't like narrow roads or steep hills I would suggest to park up on the back street and walk down the pathway.

The interior of the house is cosy but modern with some great features. The upstairs bedroom has mood lighting and a bath that you can watch tv in.

When we arrived we found that the place had not been cleaned very well. There were a lot of cobwebs and there was also a lot of dust.
There were also a few things that were broken or had no instruction on how to use which was a let down but overall it was a pleasure to stay in.

“Awesome”
Reviewed 23 October 2013 for a stay in August 2013

What a place, utterly unrivalled in anywhere we have ever stayed before. Truly stunning views from a special location, loaded with technology and luxury in every room. Would recommend highly as a location to base yourself also, Mevagissey is a gorgeous little gem of a place and with attractions within driving distance it really is a brilliant holiday location that we thoroughly enjoyed and rate as our best holiday to date as a family. The views are unbelievable.

“Fabulous house, superbly equipped with fantastic views”
Reviewed 6 October 2013 for a stay in October 2013

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. This is a lovely house which has been very well appointed. It is comfortable, cosy and welcoming. It has three bedrooms of which the master is quite stunning, The 2nd bedroom is well decorated and comfortable, with the third being especially attractive to kids (it's even got a Playstation 3!!). For TV lovers there's a big TV in the lounge and a TV in every bedroom.

There is a nice deck, which is ideal for gazing over the view as the sun sets, a nice seating area and a small but well-kept garden.

The highlight of the property though is it's view, which looks out over the town, the harbour and bay. It is quite lovely.

It's close to the village of Mevagissey where there are a number of nice pubs and restaurants, but the walk back is very steep.

“Super property but no parking”

Harbour Heights is a luxurious property and probably one of the best equipped that we have stayed in. The rooms are spacious if a bit quixotic in layout and the views are to die for. Upon arrival there was also an excellent welcome pack to make you feel at home. The bungalow is certainly comfortable to live in and provided that you can cope with the steep hills then you will enjoy it. It does have one big drawback however - no matter what the blurb says don't believe it - there is no usable parking. Certainly there is space for two cars but it is impossible to access the space unless you have a very small four by four and even then it would be very difficult. Parking is achievable in the street at the back of the property but this makes unloading and loading a nightmare. Mevagissey itself is charming resort (hills apart) but the streets are very narrow and not for nervous drivers. It is however a really nice holiday location.
