This was my second stay and this Travelodge and am glad to say that nothing has changed ! It is quiet and in a great location (short drive to St Ives and other beaches, small retail park within walking distance, McDonalds 2 minute walk away...). The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.

It was indeed good value for money for a quick visit to Cornwall to visit some plant Nurseries. I got a good deal on the price and you get what you pay for. Reception was good and friendly and found us a quiet room on the ground floor. I appreciate it was cheap but in my opinion they have cut things to the bare minimum to well travelled travellers.... no glasses for drinks, no Bathmat..only 1 hand towel for 2 people! Chunky mugs for tea/coffee, 1 chair, no pictures in the room. A very Basic Room. But on the plus side the Hotel Reception and Room and Bedding was all very clean. No one tidied the room, food was left there from the breakfast boxes. The Bathroom had a floor that collected water after a shower that meant you never had dry feet after taking a shower.
We had a Disabled room which I must admit was well adjusted for a wheelchair user.
Thé Wifi as well was rather mean..30 mins free then you had to pay! Just so easy to go get a coffee somewhere for free WiFi every where else. Tv was good. Heating was good. Machine for drinks snacks in the Reception. Breakfast was Boxes...not worth the money I thought!
The biggest problem we found which was extremely dangerous when venturing out to eat in the evening when it’s dark . There was no proper allocated pathways and traffic was coming into the hotel car park and the adjacent garage which then led out onto a busy road. You had to cross this road to get to the Brewers Fayre or MacDonalds. Which were the only places to get a meal in the evening? Surely a zebra crossing should be put in place there. But for a quick visit it was Ok! Well placed for all the area.

Room tip: Ask for a quiet room, some get more traffic past

Thank you for taking the time to review our Hayle Travelodge.

We're really sorry to learn of your disappointment with our WiFi extra. We do not include the cost of this extra in our room rates unlike some of our competitors as we believe this allows our guests to pay for the services they need so we can continue to offer great room rates.

We are also sorry to hear that your room was not cleaned to the usual Travelodge standard and have passed this feedback on to the relevant team.

On the other hand we are pleased to hear that you found the room to be of good value for money and that the team were friendly.

Thank you again for submitting your review and we hope to welcome you back soon to enjoy a fully comfortable stay.

As usual Hayle Travelodge was everything it needed to be . A comfortable stay in a friendly clean hotel, rooms warm and clean on arrival with a service of the room being carried out each day suppling clean towels, and coffee and tea supplies always at hand. We will be returning as we-always know we are made to feel very welcome.

This hotel is next to a main road so the last thing I expected was badly fitting windows with a visible gap at the top.needless to say the noise kept us awake both nights we stayed there.I am not surprised they dont offer the same good nights sleep guarantee the premier inn do!The windows were absolutely filthy and the ledges and surrounding areas were covered in cobwebs.Where there was meant to be a sofa bed there were just marks in the carpet showing there used to be one!Unbelievably there were also hairs in the bath. The staff we met were pleasant but the room itself was the tattiest we have experienced. We normally stay in premier inns. That is where we will stay again going foward.lesson learned. As a business how is this acceptable? Good luck building your brand you are going to need it.

We stayed overnight here. When we eventually checked in there was dirty bedding along the floor of the corridors. The room is just what you expect from a travel lodge. Although the bathroom was in need of a makeover. Grout dirty on tiles, dirt and dust on the floor. We even had cobwebs on the ceiling! Certainly wouldn't rush to stay there again.
