Spacious rooms, well equipped house in a lovely location with a fabulous garden. Nine of us stayed and there was more than enough room for all of us. Crantock village and beach are lovely and Newquay is easily accessible. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
we had a fantastic stay, the house was perfect, just as described. all areas were clean and contained everything you could wish for, a real home from home. a lovely garden for our dogs and only a short walk from a beautiful beach. we were 2 families with a total of 10 and it still felt spacious. thank you to Paul and Elle for all their hard work in making this a great place to stay, we would love to return one day.
We stayed in Crantock corner during Easter break and it was a wonderful experience staying in Crantock and we had everything we wanted in the house. Paul was very helpful and i would certainly recommend this house to anyone. I would love to visit Crantock again. Thanks again Paul.
Stayed August 2017 for a week with family, what a fabulous cottage, 9 of us stayed and there was plenty of room for all of us. The house has a gorgeous garden - our boys enjoyed playing in it everyday., there is a gas BBQ and a charcoal BBQ, we was lucky with the weather so enjoyed these a couple of times. Kitchen well equipped and we managed to cook several meals here. Washing machine and dryer which came in handy. Great location, approx 15 minute walk to Crantock beach which is beautiful, best to walk as we did as the car parks get very busy with queues. Nearby there is a Londis shop for your essentials, homemade pasties and pizzas are lovely too! 2 pubs nearby, we drank and ate in the Cornishman a couple of times, the kids loved the free pool table. Very close to Newquay to visit and also easy to access other resorts in Cornwall. We had a fantastic week here, only wish we could of stayed longer and would definitely recommend the house and hoping to book again, Paul the owner was very helpful with any questions we had.
We visited Crantock staying in Crantock Corner from 9th-16th April 2017
We had 8 family members-myself,hubbie, our daughter aged 11 and our son aged 6,my sister and brother in law and their little girl aged 1 and our dad
The first thing that hit us were the lovely views over this beautiful village and beyond from the very big kitchen window
I have never been so happy to cook to be honest in this well equipped kitchen with a glass of wine and looking up at the view, plus the sofa at the end of the kitchen is great as family are happy to sit there and chat rather than you being on your own
We made 5 delicious dinners in there, had a meal at C-Bay(well worth a visit)and a Rick Stein takeaway(£87 and a 40 minute wait but still nice and back at the house in 10 mins with it nice and hot still for all the family)and had a great lunch in the Cosy Nook again in the village which you must visit
It was lovely to wake up in this peaceful place without having an alarm ring and we have all throughly enjoyed staying here-in fact my little niece has never slept as much with all the fresh air!
We haven't done loads of things but we have relaxed which was our intention and Crantock Corner has been the perfect place to do it
The garden is fab for everyone-have managed to sit out a few times with a drink and watch the kids play which has been great in April-for those of you lucky enough to be coming this summer the 8 seater table will be fab for your meals sitting outside and there is another bench further down the garden and a bbq area at the bottom
The living room is big enough to relax in of an evening for all of us again just having a drink and watching the kids play
We didn't really use the middle room but did say when the kids are a bit older and may want a little space this is a nice cosy room to sit and have a chat in
I never wanted to be a mum who said the wifi is great but unfortunately with 2 kids with iPads now I think it is worth saying the wifi is very good here!
The house easily sleeps the 5 adults and 3 kids
There are only 2 bathrooms but we just had to stagger the shower situation a bit really-we have managed and will be booking for summer here even with there only being the 2 bathrooms
The house is very reasonably priced
Paul the owner is a lovely gentleman who literally can not do enough for you
If you do have a slight problem you must contact him as he really isn't just saying he wants to help,he really does want to ensure your stay is the best
experience it can be for you.His daughter is lovely too, very helpful like her dad and genuinely cares about the guests
The property was nice and clean on arrival
We have been to Crantock every year for 9 years and this has been our best holiday yet
We were gutted to leave this home and Crantock in general, we shall be back but summer next year which means we will have longer than a year to wait for our return this time!
Thanks again Paul we enjoyed every minute of our stay
