Love it here!
This is our second stay at Fenteroon and it won’t be our last! We stayed in Yew Tree Barn this time (Shippen last time) with our little sausage dogs Ralph & Julie. The accommodation is so well equipped, it’s very lovely and clean and really private! The under floor heating in the colder months is such a treat to come home to if it’s been extra blustery on the beach too. It’s so peaceful and the setting of Fenteroon Farm is idyllic. Loads of places to visit nearby including Tintagel, Bude, Widemouth Bay, Rock, Polzeath and Port Isaac to name a handful..and all under half hours drive away. We had a gorgeous walk along the river bank into Camelford with the dogs, the walk starts literally 5 minutes from our accommodation so no driving, it’s an ideal evening walk to the pub before bedtime! Nothing is too much trouble for Helen and her family, they are so welcoming but also leave you to it as well..a perfect combo! It’s our little hideaway from the ‘real world’. Thank you Fenteroon see you next year! Xx

Lovely stay
Just back from a week in Yew Tree Cottage and couldn't fault it. No expense has been spared to make guests comfortable. Ideally placed for seeing the area.

Perfect. Excellent dog friendly accommodation.
Stayed one week in Yew Tree Barn with Ted our dog. The accommodation is 5*, extremely clean and spacious for a one bedroom. The bed was extremely comfortable with high quality bed linen. It was great to have the small gated garden too which meant you could leave the door open without worrying about the dog escaping. Its set in a peaceful location with walks on the doorstep. A good base to explore North Cornwall. The Four Seasons cafe in town did fantastic coffee and food. Would highly recommend - we had a wonderful week. One tip (not related to accommodation) make sure you have plenty of change for car parks as not all meters take card or app payment.

A wonderfull few days away
We stopped at Yew Tree Barn on our way back from a few days in Falmouth, and we had a wonderful time there. So much so, we stayed on a extra night. Yew Tree Barn itself was such a good standard of accommodation, very clean and very welcoming. We had our three month old with us and was made to feel very welcome by Helen. I would highly recommend Yew Tree Barn for a quite relaxing break, and a great location if you want to explore. The location is great for visiting Cornwall's north coast line. We hope to be back for another visit one day soon. Mr & Mrs N

Great spot for many beaches and direct walks to Bodmin Moor
Flexibility on arrival day suits us so much and helps avoid traffic! Quiet location but close to shops and takeaways in Camelford. Found the less obvious/busy car parks if you go early to access beaches and further walking from Treyarnon Beach (then Constantine Bay and Hayle on foot) best done at low tide to explore the coves, Daymer Bay (then Rock by foot) and some parking spaces off the Camel Trail just amile or so out of Padstow at Little Hymler? Great views from car park/ and very friendly welcome at Roughtor Tea Rooms, just past Crowdy Resevoir...

Peaceful, idyllic and homely
We have just returned from a weekend in Yew Tree Barn and it was the most relaxing, enjoyable weekend we've had in a long time! The cottage was beautiful and immaculate with everything we needed including some biscuits for us and treats for the dog!! Waking up from a great nights sleep in the most comfortable bed to a lawn full of rabbits, idyllic. We will most definitely return and would highly receommend these cottages. Thank you Helen and Nigel, the cottages and their surroundings are a credit to you and we loved it x

An excellent standard of accommodation !
This was our second visit to Fenteroon and we took some friends with us ! They were equally delighted with the immaculate presentation of the cottages. We enjoyed the peaceful location which provides an ideal base for touring the coastal villages as well as further inland. I would think that the new series of "Poldark "will add to the popularity of the area so we would recommend that you get in early with a booking for Fenteroon !!

Beautiful cottage and and an excellent location!
We stayed in Yew Tree Barn for a long weekend in January. The cottage was lovely and warm and just the right size for my husband and I and our two year old daughter. Despite the weather not being great for two out of the three days there was a lot to do in the area and the cottage is located in a really good place. The owners were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this cottage.
