“Return visit”
Reviewed 10 May 2015 for a stay in April 2015

This was a return visit to Fenteroon (having stayed here last year) and again we couldn't fault it. Location is excellent - visiting Padstow etc. The property is definitely a home from home with all that you could need. The owners are on hand but don't intrude. Lara, our lab, loves the barn and all the excellent walks from your front door - the walk to the local pub along the riverside is a must!

You should definitely visit Padstow and the local farm shop (Hilltop Farm Shop) is a must for food as well as a good breakfast!

We will definitely return again. Thank you.

“Fantastic!! Enjoyed every minute really did not want to leave !”
Reviewed 13 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Me and my partner stayed here and both agree it's the best place we have ever stayed very deserving of the 5* rating. We found it to be a very central location with plenty of things to do in a 10mile radius
We are hoping to return soon

“An ideal base for exploring Cornwall”
Reviewed 15 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

The property was finished to a high standard and was very clean, it had all the comforts of home which is what you need at the end of a hard day sight seeing. It's an ideal base for exploring Cornwall, and I wouldn't hesitate in booking it again in the future.

“Beautiful hideaway”
Reviewed 13 February 2014 for a stay in January 2014

We spent a weekend in the Shippen and were extremely pleased with the beauty of the cottage and surrounding area. It has been decorated to a high standard without losing its traditional charm and appeal. We took time to explore surrounding Tintagel and Bude and had a lovely meal in nearing Wadebridge. Helen, the owner, was helpful friendly and welcoming. We don't think we could have enjoyed our stay more and can't wait to come back.
