What a beautiful and picturesque place to visit. I was advised to visit Boscastle while I stayed at Tintagel and i'm so glad I did. I turned up on a really sunny day and the harbour was the place to walk along. It had quite a few people along the way but that didn't take anything away from the beauty of the quaint houses and beautiful stream that runs along the walk to the coast. So worth going if you're in the area

After the disaster that struck in 2004 when just about everything washed away, now it is a delightful place to visit. A very calming place to visit. A lovely harbour and plenty of places to walk if your able.

As we walked down from the car park we saw a mini waterfall. We then moved on to the Harbour and the bay itself. We took a gentle stroll along the harbour and I climbed up onto the cliffs to view the bay. We also went into the Visitors Centre where we were able to see lines over the doorway showing where the disastrous floods of 2004 had risen to incredible heights. You can also see video of the water racing through the harbour. There are little shops and cafes to visit and also the Museum of Witchcraft if you fancy a visit. A very pretty location which has recovered well.
