Love this place. Small and cosy it always has a good atmosphere. Great selection of cask and keg and the brewery take over nights are a treat. And the selection of bottles on the shelves! Just ask them to pop one in the fridge for you or take them home.

The hops has quite simply the best craft beers in Manchester. Despite the shorter selection I find the quality consistently better than the larger tap houses in town and the prices undoubtedly keener.

Good atmosphere and friendly staff. The only problem is that there aren't enough tables to sit everyone who wants to come.

Really friendly staff! always a great selection of real ale, all really good. Very busy at times but that creates a great atmosphere and a nice place to drink - Highly recommended!!

Simply fantastic selection of craft ales on tap and if you still can't find something that takes your fancy then the shelves are stacked with a wonderful selection of cans and bottles too. I believe you can sit and drink cans and bottles in the pub too.
We stuck to the taps and every single one (there were a quite a few) of the beers we had was served perfectly. Possibly better than the brewers had ever expected. Naturally HH serve a lot of local Manchester beers which is a very good thing given the wonderful craft breweries in the area.
A word to the wise. If you have embraced the craft beer movement, clear your diary for the rest of the day and take a detour to Heaton Hops.

I can't rate this place highly enough. The craft beer revolution continues apace - and HH keeps up. The beer board these days is different to when it first opened - but the quality remains the same. The beers are kept impeccably well, and are continually rotating.

To make matters even better - they're even serving nuts now AND, if you're really lucky, you can get pies and pasties from Littlewoods, the great butchers next door, at weekends

The staff are all delightful and very knowledgeable - and the customers are always up for a friendly chat.

A great place to spend a few hours
