Haven't been in here for a couple of years as I thought the beer was a bit expensive and the food was ok but not good enough to make me want to eat there. However we went in for our tea last night and I was pleasantly surprised by the bar prices. I had a rare rump steak which came with real chips, a good mix of veg, mushroom and tomato. I've got to say every mouthful was a delight. The steak was so tasty. My wife had Hunters Chicken which she really enjoyed and to top it off she ordered Chocolate Brownie Sundae which came in a kind of glass jar with a handle and was easily enough for two. It was packed with ice creams and chocolate and sweet "things".
Too sweet for me but my wife thoroughly enjoyed it.
Well, after not being here for a few years I'm certainly looking forward to my next visit.
