These rocks are a must visit high up on Ilkley moor. Car park is situated at the side of the main road with the rocks a quick 2 minute walk from there. Great view down onto Ilkley itself.

A great place to visit to walk climb or relax.

Great for parking and a cafe on site too for refreshments. The pub is over the road!

Fabulous views! Decided to drive to the edge of the moors at sunset today. I wish I could walk on the moors but sadly the MS means I can do a little but get out of the car and take photographs! But it was worth the drive. I'll definitely go back with my boyfriend soon.

If you want to blow those cobwebs of daily life away, this is the places to go. Plenty of pathways - some steep, some rugged, some more sedate - to choose from, and the views are quite superb, whatever the time of year. Try the White Wells Cafe (short walk up from its own car park) for a nice cuppa or snacks - you can sit inside if the weather's inclement (though the place smells a bit musty) or outside on picnic tables and take in the view over Wharfedale. It's a pity the local council (Bradford) does not put more resources into maintaining Ilkley Moor. They've allowed the bracken to over-grow the heather over large tracts of the Moor, which spoils the aspect and the wild-life situation, as well as encroaching on the pathways in summer, to render some of them very hard to pass along. More effort required, Bradford! But whether you like a long tough ramble or a more sedate amble, this is a great place to go.
