We went for one night and when we checked in Terry at the desk could not be nicer and took us up the our nice room that had chocolates and a card on the bed. They include breakfast which the pancakes were one of the best I ever had. At night we went to the sister hotel Ledges to eat dinner at Glass. Food was phenomenal small plates. We sat outside overlooking the waterfalls . We went to the town Honesdale which was a 10 min away drive . It was cute to walk around. This place is nice quiet overnight for couples.

This was our first time here. We celebrated our anniversary here. The midweek foodie package was the way to go. First of all, the inn itself is a registered Historical Hotel of America
It's a 1920's arts and crafts or mission style inn throughout. The lobby with is huge with many period pieces from the fireplace to the aquarium. The dining room next door is also beautiful and stays in period. Our room was 206. It had a king bed and large whirlpool tub. It had an electric fire place. It was a pretty room, nice TV, and comfortable bed. In the hallway is a tea/coffee station with biscotti and spring water. The room also has a Keurig. This room does get some outside noise as it is close to the stairwell and may be above the kitchen. Also, there is no elevator and no doorman...so it's up to you to get your bags upstairs. We enjoyed our dinner. We were surprised with tge complementary glass of bubbly, and were very happy with the service. Breakfast was also wonderful. Overall we had a really nice evening and stay here.

The Settlers Inn is a gem in the small northeast PA town of Hawley. The interior decorations are very nice and our room was large and comfortable with a large couch. Good size shower. All of the help were very friendly. The restaurant is the best in town by far, with a good choice of entrees and drinks, and efficient friendly service. We would go back again anytime.

My husband and I went to Settlers Inn for the 3rd time, clearly we love it. I’m shocked by some of the negative comments on here. It just truly shows how miserable some people are and how you really are unable to please everyone. This place is so lovely I can’t ever say anything bad about it. The service is always great, the food is delicious and fresh and the rooms are always beautifully kept. They have a great cozy fireplace where we love sitting and having a glass of wine by. They also have a cute garden when it’s nice to also sit and relax with a nice drink. We highly recommend having dinner there and trying the toffee pudding. Thanks again Settlers Inn, we will see you in the winter.

What a delightful time! We walked into the lobby greeted by a wood fire in the fireplace, warm and toasty. We were greeted like old friends and felt at home the minute we arrived. We were escorted to our rooms which were just lovely, and toasty warm with INDIVIDUAL thermostats!!! One room was warm and cozy with a fireplace and two loveseats, one room had a jacuzzi tub. There is a Keurig in each room, and a little snack room with electric teapot and choice of tea, Keurig, a jar or biscotti and hard candy on tap at all times. Staff was all very friendly and made us feel at home. Our room included a nice glass of wine by the fireplace before dinner. Dinner was lovely. Dessert - oh my!!! We had the signature dessert. Also included was breakfast which was our choice from the full breakfast menu - the fresh fruit was just grand, along with pancakes, bacon, eggs, potatoes, toast, muffins and grand coffee!! We will return!!
