Only open seasonably from April to November, Sara's on Presque Isle oozes Americana with its red and white décor, memorabilia and vintage 50s vibe. But that isn't all there is - Sara's takes burgers, fries, and other apps a cut above with a help-yourself "filling station" with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, specialty sauces like pesto and garlic, so you can truly make your burger your way. Don't miss the assortment of six or so shaker seasonings for your fries in the back seating area - Parmesan, cheddar, salt and vinegar and more. Alongside the classics, Sara's offers regional specialties. I loved my Italian beef sandwich with provolone and peppers, and my daughter's perch platter was massive enough to share.
