This was my first ever experience of ‘glamping’ and I absolutely loved it.
Absolutely fantastic location with amazing views of the lake. The pods are well equipped with everything you could possibly need and are toasty warm. Great fun for kids and adults!
Just stayed for 2 wonderful nights at Langley damn glamping pods, it's the most relaxing and beautiful place .the pods are amazing they are very well equipped and thought out, everything is lovely quality inside (towels bedding and furniture) it's our first visit can't wait to go back thank you for a lovely first glamping experience
Stayed for 2 nights. Absolutely fantastic experience.
Pod is fully furnished with everything you would need and more. Total peace and tranquillity. Views are to die for especially the early morning sun rise.
Plenty to do there. We had a drive over to the lake district just over an hours drive, but as I say could have found plenty to do closer. Fishing was fantastic also and good to able to just wander down to the lake and fish a couple of hours before dusk and just after sunrise.
Get booked.up you won't be disappointed.
Fantastically kitted out chalet, home from home experience. Fire pit, lakeside, terrace eating, peace and tranquility, a real treat. Perfect for a special weekend or for a family short break. Close enough to local historic attractions such as Hadrian's Wall and Carlisle Castle. Perfect for those who love to walk and animal watch. Trout fishing on site. Well worth the money. Hope to go back.
With the deep orange sun slowly descending over the lake and the gently lapping water mixing seamlessly with the tone of distant bird song, the scene is set for a relaxing evening at Langley Dam. Sitting on the deck of a one-off designed “Langley Longboat” after a busy day in this popular holiday destination will provide the most delightful and enduring memories of any vacation. Well thought out positioning of homely comforts makes for a luxurious stay. The attention to detail and the standard of cleanliness is evident on arrival, immediately providing a welcoming most would long for after a hard day hiking, or a mere ramble around Hadrian’s Wall. Light the outside fire pit for the best of BBQs and enjoy the remote Northumberland countryside while dining. Take a walk into the countryside direct from the site, possibly to the local pubs, or simply stroll around the lake to work off your evening meal. The evenings can be as relaxing as one chooses. Possibly the most redeeming feature (after the delightful wooden dream homes) is the fact that the site is unspoilt and as nature intended. No pretence or gimmicks, just a straightforward natural environment. If you want to get close to nature (in a small luxury wooden dream home), you must, at the very least, visit this little gem of heightened peacefulness.
