The Lewis and Clark monument sits at the end of the Oregon Trail. Thinking about how these explorers made it all the way to the Pacific Ocean is amazing.

This statue made me pause and think back to what it would have been like to view the Pacific Ocean after an arduous trek across the US

Great monument to explorers Lewis and Clark reaching the ocean at the end of their trek across the US. Great place to stop to take photos.

One of my favorite places to go. Every time. Knowing that Lewis & Clark ended their historical journey here is priceless. Being able to ogle at, and appreciate, this Monument is something to behold. Thanks Seaside...

This monument at the end of the Oregon Trail (and the end of the street) is situated in the center of a roundabout. We walked down the street from our hotel past some fun shops and restaurants and then walked a bit down the Promenade...great after-dinner walk. The area is beautiful and relaxing.
