Exceptionally clean, no frills diner just a few blocks west of Highway 101 in North Bend. Local favorite, and no wonder! Good fresh food carefully prepared. I had a basic cheeseburger and loved it. Premium fresh bun, beef cooked the way I like it (overdone!) fresh garnish of shredded iceberg lettuce, sliced tomato and onions. I had no room left to eat the accompanying french fries, but I did try one. Nicely cooked frits, but they are the usual frozen potatoes and the oil used, probably cottonseed, was heavy and covered any taste of potato. Friend with me had an enormous hamburger layered with try-tip steak and bacon, a real cholesterol feast. I didn't taste it, but it smelled good, but it would be way too heavy for my appetite. So, in sum, good to excellent quality diner foods well prepared and served in very ample portions. A bargain for the very hungry.
