I was disappointed with what kind of shape the golf course in general was after driving all the way up there. The tee boxes had not been mowed for awhile, the grass was 2-2 1/2 inches tall and there were many divots that were old and had not been repaired. The fairways were really rough and some of them had trenchs running through them that were 3-4 inches deep and a couoke that were deeper than that. The greens had some really rough patches on them which made an accurate putt nearly impossible. We headed off at 0900 and three of the fairways we came to still had sprinklers going which made it really nice to try to hit your ball without getting soaked. There were a few places on the cart path (where you had to stay in the cart path) that had 2-3 inches of mud on them so while you were driving through it in the 75 degree weather the tires were throwing mud all over. The bathroom supplies needed to be replenished and cleaned as the garbage can was literally overflowing onto the floor. All in all for the price of the golf and the long drive to get to it, it wasn’t worth it.
