We had lunch here last week and were pleasantly surprised. I had the Philly sandwich and it was by far one of the best I have had,,, at least around here.
The prices are a little bit higher than some for a sandwich shop but I found the quality was also better than most.

The bread was soft, is my best compliment. Split a St. Helen's, which is arguably not a light lunch (italian meats), and it was fairly heavy on the meat. But the bacon is a very unusual thick leathery texture. And for 8$ I might not complain but for $12 it was overpriced for what they threw together - oily tapenade and some jarred red peppers that were 50% seeds. Deseed the pepper a bit, layer the meat evenly on the sandwich (it was like the leaning tower of Pisa with all meat on one side and some meat on the other), and please, add something fresh.

Joined a group in the restaurant and had a very good panini sandwich while there. Restaurant was large and appeared to have a buffet table. Service for the group was good, food was very good. If you like panini sandwiches, the place is worth stopping into and checking it out. Enjoy

Fat Tony's Panini 541-507-1957 - 1212 NW 6th St Grants Pass, OR 97526 - used to be known as "The Kit-chun"
I had their Turkey Special which was made with real turkey, sauteed red and green peppers, cream cheese toasted golden brown on a french dough bread served with potato chips for $11.00. My friend had the Climate Sandwich made with real House Roasted Turkey, Peppered Bacon, Avocado with garlic and Chive Cream Cheese Spread for $13.00 toasted golden brown on a french dough bread served with potato chips. The service was good and the people were very nice. We would come back here again for a Sandwich or/and a bowl of their Soup, which smelled and looked wonderful.
