We were looking for fish and chips and found this place. Convenient and right on the water. Several different types of fish and prep styles in the fish and chips category, all were fantastic. Also serve some of the best clam chowder. They have non seafood items also...the cheese burger was great! There is croquet on the grass lawn, indoor and outdoor seating. Everything appeared clean. We would stop by again if in the area!!!

We were doing the Bandon to Charleston touring loop and decided to stop for lunch in the small, fishing town of Charleston with hopes for a great fresh seafood meal.

Good points: In the back is a lovely deck with tables with umbrellas. There is also a lawn with picnic tables. They are very dog friendly, providing water bowls for the pooches. The clam chowder was tasty with a touch of thyme

Downside: We both had crab cakes (it's crab season on the west coast) with sides of fries. The fries were average. The crab cakes, although interestingly flavored with mushrooms and onions, had little crab flavor. I suspect too much filler. They were unevenly pan fried adding to a greasy versus crisp texture

So go have a beer and a view. Skip the food

When we first entered we were invited to sit anywhere for lunch. We decided on a table outside! Great view of the marsh and remarkably bug free. Becky, our delightful server was very familiar with menu answering all our questions and was attentive to our needs without being intrusive.

We were enroute back to our coach having touristed Shore Acres State Park spotting many many seals, including elephant seals plus a bevy of sea lions. Our travels included many stops and lots of walking iot take many pics so we were hungry.

K had a delicious cheeseburger while I enjoyed the rockfish fish and chips. Both meals were very good and the fries were obviously home made and fresh. Mmmm good!

There are many options on the menu to spark your taste buds including some veggie options.

This is a great stop when traveling in the area where you can expect fresh cooked food, great service and a welcoming atmosphere! Don't miss it!

Stopped here on a recommendation from a friend. The clam chowder is very good with a twist of flavor from Thyme and Basil! The fish and chips were very good as well. The tartar sauce was very tasty.
