Driving along I-40 we stopped on Trip Advisors rating. Loved it! Like a time machine. Friendly scurrying servers. A four page menu with chicken and dumplings on special. We stuck with chicken salad and a spicy jalapeño burger. Both just fine.
They are about a mile off the freeway butt worth it. Good ole diner fare at a good price. Was filled with locals.

We had a group of 4 stop to eat here, The outside looked interesting. Two of us ordered reuben sandwiches, the meat was all chopped up, I have never had a reuben sandwich with chopped meat, it was fair. Two of my friends ordered breakfast, it looked good, they said it was good, The wanted hot sauce, but the waitress never came back and we couldn't get her attention to ever get hot sauce. Our coffees were never filled after the first pour. That was more upsetting than anything, We were given food and that was it..

The food was just OK. Service was less then average. I stopped here because the BBQ place was closed. Meat and potatoes place, expect nothing more

Our family stopped here on day 3 of our travels from Charleston, SC to Norman OK. We'd been searching for a lunch spot for many miles. We were beginning to think there was no food in rural Oklahoma when we happened upon Henryetta and the Classic Diner. It's exactly as the name suggests; a hometown diner with friendly service and typical diner fare. Our first impression was of how clean and cheery it was. We threw caution to the wind as far as clean eating goes, and ate like we did back in high school. My husband and I ordered hamburgers with fries, and our son had the French dip with sweet potato fries. We also shared an order of onion rings at the suggestion of our server. To finish things off we shared a slice of the coconut cream pie that is made in-house. The food was very good, but our favorite part of the meal was the friendliness of the staff and a local gentleman who also stopped in for lunch. They kindly answered our questions regarding the history of Henryetta, and really made our visit a pleasure. We look forward to stopping in again on our next trip to Norman.
