“Great spot for a family”
Reviewed 12 May 2018 for a stay in April 2018

Nested away from any hustle and bustle in a private little corner right on the river bank. This spot has so much going for it and is hosted fantastically by Corinne and Dave. We had a great time fishing from the pontoon, boating and canoeing on the river, football in the paddock, movies on the outdoor screen, pizzas and cookies in the pizza oven and we even got to take our dogs! Give it a go, it would be hard to not have fun!

“Relaxing and serene”
Reviewed 22 November 2016 for a stay in November 2016

Corinne and David were very welcoming and offered us lots of info on the property when we arrived. The scenery was lovely and the spot was very serene and seculded. The cabin was clean, tidy and we all loved the selection of movies that were made available on the outdoor screen. Lovely free-range eggs were provided for our breakfast which was a lovely gesture. We had to catch the punt to get to local shops and dining but it was a fun experience. Kids and adults all enjoyed jumping into the river from the private boat ramp and pier. Much fun was had canoeing and relaxing by the BBQ under the stars. The cabin was air conditioned and the beds were comfy. Our doggy loved it just as much as everyone else. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to visit the Hawkesbury and unwind.

Thank you Corinne and David for a lovely stay :)

“Been there before - was even better this time”
Reviewed 23 February 2016 for a stay in February 2016

Had stayed there a year ago and thought we would go back. Lovely quiet spot right down by the river with a jetty. Sitting on the jetty first thing in the morning with a coffee just watching the river and ducks is just magic. If you want to relax and get away from it all this is the spot. And the Pizza oven down there in the outside cooking area makes a great pizza!

“Choice spot!”
Reviewed 8 January 2015 for a stay in January 2015

Right on the Hawkesbury river - actually its the MacDonald but it is only meters from the Hawkesbury. The outside area is right next to the boat ramp and the pontoon so you just get out of bed and into the boat. Pretty busy with boats - but is was peak January time. Would be lovely to go off peak and do some bush walking and explore the old convict road.

Everything we needed for a relaxing couple of days - outside BBQ got a lot of use.
