Groupon offer - bed breakfast and evening meal - access to leisure centre - all for £99! Fantastic value. The Belfry is a stunning stylish hotel staffed by wonderful friendly staff in every area. We ate in Sam’s Clubhouse and the meal was excellent! My only criticism would be there weren’t many deserts to chose from. An accidental splashing by the waiter in some kind of pink mayonnaise type sauce was funny and luckily didn’t actually get into my clothes; my arm, the chair, the table, the floor; in-fact it was quite an impressive spilling over a vast area. He was most apologetic and offered a drink on the house to compensate - a glass of Pinot gratefully received. Had a lovely break with my husband in a very classy hotel. Will definitely go again !

Dear DebKitch
Firstly thank-you for taking the time to share your review on Tripadvisor. How very pleasing to read that your visit to our Resort was thoroughly enjoyed, with the first class hospitality we strive in achieving shining through, and thankful that the accident involving the spillage of sauce, did not damage your clothing in any way, with the offer of a beverage as an apology being enjoyed by yourself.
We look forward to being able to welcome you back to The Belfry in the future.
Kindest Regards

Booked in for Friday on PGA and Saturday on Brabazon. Two very good courses but as difficult as you can get especially the Brabazon. Virtually impossible to bring your club game here as the greens are quick, some par 4's are very long so if you treat it with respect you can score but don't expect to tear it up. Two disappointments, buggies are £50 ( I needed one as I recently had a knee replacement ) and I paid £12.30 for two pints of bitter !! don't pay that in London ! Grill bar food is reasonably priced and good value.

Dear Mick C
Firstly thank-you for taking the time to share your review on Tripadvisor. We are pleased to hear you were able to experience two of our iconic golf courses of which you enjoyed. We have noted your comments regarding the hire charges of our golf buggies, and take this opportunity to advise that we have taken charge of a brand new fleet of state of the art vehicles recently, with many advanced features which enhance our players game and experience, including GPS screens, enabling players to gain yardage on every shot, and map layout of the course, USB and Bushnell device charging, Extra comfort seats, and the opportunity of a drinks package with attached ice box which is therefore reflective of the tariff charged. Regarding your views of our beverage tariffs, we further explain, these charges are reflective of the surroundings, ambience and service afforded to our Guests.
We hope to be able to welcome you back to The Belfry in the future

The Belfry has a strong reputation in the area for its high quality dining experience and so it seemed like the perfect place for an evening out. The food was great and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming.

Following dinner we went to the beautifully decorated and ambient cocktail bar in the lobby. I have to say that our time at the Belfry was made all the better by Elizabeth who works in the bar. She was attentive, polite and really knew her cocktails. She made our evening and would certainly go back, if not for the Brambles, then certainly her welcoming customer service. Hats off to her and the team!

I stayed hear with my disabled partner for 2nights, The grounds on the drive up to the hotel are beautifully manicured the hotel itself is modern and very roomy the lobby area is beautiful with lots of seating the bar is great with a wide variety of drinks and really lovely staff.

We stayed in one of the disabled accessible rooms it was just large enough for a wheelchair but was very comfortable the wet room was nice and looked very modern(wet rooms can be very dated and tired). Just a warning as with nearly all wet rooms they do have a habit of leaking water into the main room no matter how careful you are.

The Spa is the main reason we went and was lovely, all the treatments we had were perfect especially the facial which was the best we had ever encountered, My partner had a reiki massage which isn’t on the list of treatments they did this due to my partners allergies (thank you Amanda it was so relaxing). The Fire and ice is worth the money even if only for the hydro pool at the end.
I would also like to thank the lifeguards who helped my partner out of the pool when she was too tired to do the steps at the end, you did this with great dignity and didn’t make her feel that she was different or being a nuisance (Sorry we didnt catch your names)

The only really downside to our stay was the main courses at night in the Ryder grill, it just wasn’t to our personal taste the staff did offer for us to change restaurants for the second night but we went back just for the puddings they were great! We also ate breakfast in the ryder grill this was tasty with a real wide range of foods on offer.

We will look at coming back for another stay soon.
