Ambience, excellent. Service friendly and efficient. And as a single diner, I was not rushed at at all.
Nosh disappointing.
Patatas Bravas was de-constructed, the potatoes served in the same basket as with main course with two (too small) side dishes of dipping sauces. Little chilli heat and no meat, no chorizo. All of which meant there was no immersion of spuds in sauce, however hard I tried so this felt more an exercise in economy rather than a culinary experience.
I had the King of steaks, rib eye, pleasingly cooked exactly to request, but ..... TIP, ask to season yours at the table, mine was over salted, and the garlic mushrooms under garliced.
Three courses, a small glass of house red and service all came to a few pennies under £50. I think I will give this another chance, from other reviews it appears I was unlucky.

Went with a group of friends on a Sat evening. We were seated upstairs, restaurant was busy but a times we waited a really long time and not always for food. Had to ask for a jug of tap water on a number of occasions, and a glass of ice took 3 requests.

Food was really good, all enjoyed starters and the mains came out cooked exactly how everyone had requested them. Sweet potato fries were also good as well as the green beans.

Couple of issues with the bill, one item that was order never arrived and there was additional wine on the bill which wasn’t ours. Both which were removed without issue once raised with the waitress

Not the sort of place I’d go on a regular basis as it’s a bit pricey, but due to the quality of the food would give it another go despite the slow service.

Starters and Steaks were cooked to perfection. The service was second to none and the Cocktail my fiancé had was the best she’d ever had! Recommend you visit and try for yourself.

We booked here for supper recently and had great steaks and juicy chicken. The service was good too.
Requests - please could you improve the tonic water you stock and when customers order mushrooms as a side, could we have whole ones like you used to offer and not three halves for a portion which works out as one and half mushrooms for a portion and is very mean and expensive??

Visited a little while ago for an evening meal and the steak was superb! We shared one of the steak boards, the restaurant was kind enough to allow us to have 1 cut cooked slightly differently as I like mine a little more done. Lovely atmosphere friendly staff and great wine. Will return
