This 16th century pub has recently been extended and renovated. It hasn’t lost any of its character and the adjoining Meade hall is a fantastic location for a party! Loads of character including a couple of suits of armour.
The pub has log fires and a log burning pit outside for those chilly winter evenings and has plenty of outdoor seating and a Gin bar for summer evenings overlooking the cricket pitch.
The food is very good, I tend to go for one of the burgers and they have a good kids menu.
The staff are friendly and there is ample parking. The only negative is the road is very busy and so you can hear traffic noise when sat outside.
