Straight from a very upsetting funeral for all concerned, we drove from Burton to Buzzards Valley and used the annex which had been set up for us (twenty people).
We had provided the kitchen the day before with the groups requirements from the menu. From sandwiches to pies, from children’s food to adults we were all not only satisfied but delighted with our food choices. The food arrived almost at the same time to everyone, provided by friendly staff who not only appeared friendly but wanted to help and assist our party. The Loft will become very busy as a result of popular trip advisor feedback and rightly so. We will be going back during happier times

It’s been a while since we have visited buzzard valley for breakfast ( The Loft ) but how nice it was the bacon had so much taste and the rest of my full breakfast was nice to m m mmmm we forgot it was Father’s Day so getting a table for two of us was nice as when we phoned there was only outside seating ?? That would have been ok to as the sun was shining can’t wait to try out some of the evening do’s the food sounds Great

Arrived back from an impromptu Lunch here and waistband fit to burst. I understand this place is under new management and we found it to be very welcoming. Two staff serving and both gave service with a smile.Ordered off the daily specials board, both of us having the pie. Very much homemade packed with filling and the chips were fabulous, not frozen but true homemade wedges! Other orders coming out all looked fabulous especially the burgers on Brioche buns. Not portions for the faint hearted .
Pleasant surroundings. Off the beaten track so needs to be able to get you back and on today’s experience we will.
Staff in the shop downstairs were also very friendly offering gin/ wine tasting but too full today but we will be back !
Only lost one star as no salads available on the menu other than to accompany the lite bites, unlikely I would have opted for it anyway truth be known

My partner and I have visited on a few occasions now at lunchtimes. We keep going back because the staff are really very pleasant, the food is farm shop quality and reasonably priced and the location is great if you want to get away from the noise of town for a while.

We often sit under the eves with our little boy who enjoys playing with the toys and crayons provided.

On the way out, we often grab a bottle of their speciality vinegars or a bottle of the wine produced on site.

Visited for Breakfast today, have to say the prices are a little high.
We both had the egg and bacon sandwich with a cappuccino. The coffee was lovely but my sarnie a little disappointing as the bread was a little too thick and the egg wasn't runny so making it very dry.
However, the staff are pleasant and it is somewhere a little different to go to.
