Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. If you like your food not arriving and staff walking off when you’re talking to them then this is the place for you.

Very kindly knocked of the mains we didn’t receive off the bill and after further complaints got a cheeky £5 starter knocked off.

Saw other customers kicking off as well for various reasons, felt sorry for the rude waiter with the beard, he should hate his job not the customers.

The perfect venue for getting your planned evening ruined. #sadface

Went on a Saturday night ,it was dead ,which should have told us everything before we ate . Staff weren't that friendly except for one of the bar staff who was . We ate 3 courses ,all very bland and basic ,steak was tough and over cooked , waffle had spent too long in microwave and was chewy . We don"t tend to complain ,we just don't go back . Not worth the money ,marstons in the town offer much better value ,choice and taste.

Waited over 2 hours for food to find it was cold when eventually got to us. Some of us had to send it back cos inedible. Stay away.

As explained on Glenda and Karen’s review, only two meals out of 18 went back and both meals were taken off, kids desserts were complimentary, I also apologised, we all enjoy our jobs, all other plates were cleared not much left, again sorry you feel this way and won’t be returning but on table check back apart from the two that went back were all good

Experience was a nightmare. Waited and waited and waited for food that when it eventually arrived was nasty and cold. Staff didn't give a jot. What a waste of time and money. Grandma's birthday celebration ruined. Gave it one dot, but only because I had to.

Sorry you feel we don’t care, we do care and even on a busy day we try to please all of our customers, as I’ve explained on Karen P’s review a member of your table, I also apologised to a couple of the ladies on your table on the day, as you can appreciate it was busy and I like to do my job, again sorry you feel that no one cared (give a jot). But we all do.

We booked a family meal to celebrate an 86th Birthday celebration. We ordered food at 1.00 and waited until 2.45 for our mains to arrive. We kept asking when our meals would arrive and kept been told they are on the way but nothing came. When they did eventually arrive, two meals had to be returned because one was cold and the other was burnt. We asked to see the Manager to complain but after 30 mins of waiting, kept being told by various staff the Manager would be over, we reluctantly paid the bill. They did take off the two meals that had to be returned but there was no offer of a reduction due to us having to wait nearly 2 hours!!!! for the food. The Manager did not even have the courtesy to at least come over and apologise. This was so disappointing for what was meant to be a 86th birthday celebration. Will not be back.

I’m sorry you feel you needed to put a review on here, Your party of 18 had a table booked at 12:45, table had fully arrived after 20 mins and seated by 1:05, I personally came over and took your food order including the starters, food order went in at 1:15, starters went out at 1:40 and the plates were cleared and places relaid at 2:10, All main meals were then being bought out to your table at 2:50, yes granted there was a complaint about the one meal being over cooked to your liking, and one cold(when we proved it after this it proved at 60), I took off both meals, gave children’s desserts free and apologised, I spoke to two of the ladies, at this table, I couldn’t apologise anymore, or offer anymore, again sorry you feel this way.
