An excellent location to discover the beauty of Northumberland and the warmth of real caring friendly hosts. If you love horses this is paradise as the acccomodation is situated on a riding centre. We stayed in Room 1 overlooking the horses grazing in beautiful grasslands. Nearby we visited the wonderful Holy Island of Lindisfarne and the famulous Alnwick Castle .

This is an excellent b&b. The hosts are charming and helpful but never intrusive. The breakfast is varied with quality items and is delicious. The room was clean and tidy with lovely decor. The bed extremely comfortable. It is great to have a fridge in the room with fresh milk. The extra touches are very nice. We have stayed before and we will stay again.

Our first visit to Northumberland and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. An initial warm/friendly greeting and a very spacious well equipped bedroom with fantastic views.
It was a surprise to find proper milk in the fridge instead of the usual synthetic offerings!
Breakfasts were excellent and plentiful with Ian being genuine and informative host! Lovely and quiet with the odd nod to the stables.
Will definitely go back - soon hopefully!
