“Superb, tranquil location with well equipped living accommodation”
Reviewed 23 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

I can't praise this holiday accommodation and location enough. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were a young couple and a retired couple. It suited us all. We all particularly enjoyed the seats in the window and spent many hours gazing out to sea in the early morning and evening.

There are wonderful walks available with stunning views, and also we enjoyed the walks though town on market day. It is hilly but that adds to the experience. Congratulations to the owners in providing this marvellous space. Hope to return for a longer stay another time.

Liked best: Loved the window seats with the view. Like climbing into another world.
Liked least: Having to leave at the end of our booked stay.

“Wonderful retreat”
Reviewed 1 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

Returned from a 3 night break between Christmas and New Year, what a lovely property! From tea and Christmas cake on arrival to frosty night time walks to the lighthouse, we had a great time. We loved that the house was so close to the town but felt so secluded and watching the seagulls whilst having a cuppa in bed was delightful. Comfortable, well equipped and quiet, we had a super time and would love to return in the future

“Perfect holiday rental”
Reviewed 20 December 2014 for a stay in November 2014

We have never stayed in an upside down house before but when you see the view from the top floor window you know why!
We were welcomed with tea and cake on the table and the house felt immediately homely.
The rooms are all beautifully furnished and the bed very comfortable.
Berwick is an interesting compact town surrounded by the town walls. The weather was rather dismal when we were there but we managed a lot of walking in the local area.
The house was immaculately clean.

“What a find!!!”
Reviewed 3 November 2014 for a stay in October 2014

The owners could give a lot of other holiday home owners a course on how to treat their customers. A beautiful house in a lovely location, well equipped, not overly priced and don't expect you to bring your own towels or charge you for utilities used. And a cracking cake on arrival! Thats exactly why its booked out most of the year. Other holiday home owners take note!!!!
