“Ding Dong.”

We had a lovely week-end here, everything you need. Bed comfy and lovely under floor heating in the bathroom. The chimes from the nearby church goes every 15 mins from a certain time in the night so if your a light sleeper it could affect your sleep. Could'nt find fault with it and would certainly stay if we are planning another trip to Alnwick. A trip to Seahouses,Newton by the sea, Bamburgh and Holy Isle is a must if it's your 1st trip to these parts. Alnwick castle gardens will be nice once the flowers are ready to see and if your a Harry Potter fan then every thing about the castle will be a must see.Took me 6 mins to walk into the centre of Alnwick ( I get about with 2 crutches ) where you can find all types of shops ready to serve you with whatever your needs may be.There was plenty of things supplied for all sorts of entertainment ( in The house ) in case you did'nt manage to get out for parents and children.Whenever we go s/catering I take my water filter with me as the water in some ares can be quite hard.

“Couldn't fault it”

We stayed in this cottage last week for a short break. It certainly lived up to our expectations and more!!! The rooms were very spacious and every little detail had been thought of. The welcome pack was much appreciated, with a bottle of wine, biscuits and cake etc. The location was excellent, being able to walk into Alnwick in 5 minutes, and also there was no problem parking right outside the cottage on the road.

We ate one night at The Dirty Bottles, and another evening walked down to Carlos Fish and Chips in the main street, and brought them back to the cottage. Both places highly recommended.

Had a lovely day at Bamburgh Castle, which we felt was very good value for money, and then went on to Holy Island, which again we thoroughly enjoyed.

Only one minor thing (which is no fault of the owners), but the church bells which chimed every 15 minutes, did continue through the night, and did often disturb our sleep, but the really comfortable beds more than made up for this!!!

Would certainly return to this cottage and recommend to friends and family.

“Perfect cottage, great location”

Lovely, spacious cottage - perfect for a family of 4. Good facilities including washing machine & dishwasher, beautifully decorated and lots of thought put in, including a welcome pack of wine, cake and flowers. Parking available outside the cottage.

The cottage is 5 minutes walk from the town centre, with a short drive to a big supermarket, ther'e's a great cheese shop & good butchers in the town centre, and plenty of pubs/ & restaurants. It's a great base to visit all the beatiful towns and villages in Northumberland, and only an hour from Newcastle too.

Would choose Peaseblossom House again next time we are in the area.

We've just returned from a wonderful weeks holiday at Peasblossom House. The cottage is great - really cozy, modern with everything you need - and more. The location is fantastic too -a couple of minutes walk from the lovely town of Alnwick and all the shops and restaurants. It is also 10 mins walk from the wonderful Alnwick Castle and Gardens and Treehouse. It is close to the beaches too and also all the wonderful National Trust properties close by. Highly recommended.
