“excellent holiday, thank you”
Reviewed 26 June 2011 for a stay in June 2011

We had a excellent holiday in your cottage and will be recomending to friends and family. We were impressed with your communication and the information you provided which helped to make our holiday easier to plan. Brilliant location for walks especially the local ones from the cottage and those further afield, the beach, NT & EH properties and thanks to your suggestion to go to the Sunday market in Amble can also recommend illy's ice cream parlour near the Marina especially the elderflower and ginger. Good food at the Northumberland Arms and cakes from the Running Fox. The towels for the dog were a good idea. Will definately put you on our list to revisit again sometime. All we can say is thank you.

“A home away from home”
Reviewed 2 June 2011 for a stay in March 2011

The cottage (and it's location) is just beautifull. Well equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need. Lots of really thoughtful touches from the herb planter under the kitchen window, to the selection of games, to the position of one of the electric sockets next to the dressing table (for the straigteners/hairdryer. Believe it or not this is very often overlooked!)
The local cafe/bakers supplied us with fabulous bread and nearby pubs offered excellent food.
We were there for a weekend break and so found the truly comprehensive cottage guide an absolute godsend. The security system meant we didn't need to worry about 'who had the key' - genius! This georgeous cottage will see me again and again.

“Just Like Home”
Reviewed 21 May 2011 for a stay in May 2011

From the moment we walked through the door, it was like coming home, even our pet dog, Brynn, settled down straight away. Those little touches for him made us feel that Brynn was as welcome as we were. The accommodation was excellent, the welcome call from Darren in the evening was a lovely touch and the location was just perfect for the holiday we were looking for, with easy access to historic buildings, beaches and all Northumberland has to offer. We will not hesitate to recommend this cottage to friends and will definitely be re-booking in the near future for a longer stay. Thank you Darren and Andrew
