Wonderful apartment, right opposite the portcullis fate to Alnwick castle. Lovely welcome basket in place, and after a 7 hour journey the wine was consumed with gusto and pronto! Snug and cosy, well appointed, fantastically comfy bed! Grant location for town centre and to view the tour of Britain from our windows! Wifi would be a bonus but that's the only slight down point. Joanna made everything very easy! Lovely

“Well appointed apartment in central location”
Reviewed 28 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. We were greeted with a welcome basket of essential and luxury items including some gluten free cakes for me !! (very thoughtful and much appreciated ) We met the owner during our stay and she was very friendly and helpful in suggesting places to eat etc. The apartment was well located for many tourist attractions including Alnwick Castle and gardens, Cragside(NT ) Chillinghurst, Bamburgh Castle(NT) , the Farne Islands,Holy Island and Lindisfarne also delicious gluten free fish and chips at Neptunes in Seahouses!! We would definitely recommend a stay at Middle'In and hope to return ourselves

“Perfect location, home from home with lots of thoughtful extras”
Reviewed 29 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

The location couldn't have been better just a few minutes stroll from the shops and eateries but far away enough from the hustle and bustle. We weren't amused by noisy revellers leaving a private party at the castle late on the Saturday night/very early Sunday morning but we made up for it by enjoying people watching from the window seat as they arrived when we guessed that a broken night's sleep was likely. It only happened once so wasn't a problem.

The Middle'In was exceptionally well appointed with many thoughtful extras provided, especially in the kitchen which enabled us to cook easily on several evenings. Every last detail and thought went into making it a comfortable and enjoyable stay from the board games, fresh flowers and welcome pack. Thank you so much making it such a lovely place to stay, I have already recommended it to a friend who is planning to visit.

Liked best: The location
Liked least: Noise most evenings from people leaving the pub a few doors down at closing time and on 1 occasion leaving a party at the castle opposite

“Great and cosy apartment, great location!”
Reviewed 2 April 2015 for a stay in March 2015

The booking itself went fine, with key collection and even better the appended parking card! You were able to park very close to the apartment, so just great!

The apartment itself is just great! Lovely bedroom, living room, bathroom and kitchen. Very cosy and most important the view on the castle of course! Besides it is very clean and you feel home really quick! A little note though, we mist some basic stuff in the kitchen, like salt, pepper, etcetera. Also you walk in just 5 minutes to the lovely city center of Alnwick. Unfortunately Alnwick is too far away from Northumberland to do a lot of walking.

There is not more to say. Just a lovely apartment which definitely made our vacation great!

Best:
- Lovely apartment
- Great view on the castle!
- Great location

Least:
- Nothing!
