We loved Hillcrest House! It was spotlessly clean, beds were very comfortable, everythong you need in house. The views were spectacular across Swaledale. Very homey, loved coming back to house after each days outing. A beautiful spot in Yorkshire. Glenda was so helpful and her welcome with a banana bread was a nice surprise! Highly recommend a stay!

“Hillcrest is a lovely comfortable cottage in a fabulous position in Low Row”
Reviewed 30 May 2018 for a stay in May 2018

Hillcrest is in a fabulous position, and is a lovely comfortable Yorkshire cottage well equipped and lovely comfortable beds. Our party consisted of 4 adults and 2 dogs and was plenty big enough for all. The dogs loved it, lovely walks and refreshments at the punch bowl pub within walking distance Glenda (the owner called in to see that everything was well and only to happy to help with any queries. Swaledale is a lovely area in the dales and would definitely be visiting again.

“A Fantastic Holiday Cottage”
Reviewed 5 May 2018 for a stay in March 2018

This is our 3rd consecutive year in the Dales and this Swaledale area is our favourite. The cottage is in a wonderful location with walking straight from the door, a fantastic pub 5 mins walk away and beautiful views over the valley. The walk from Keld to Muker and back with a lunch stop at the Farmers Arms is a must. The cottage is fantastic! so comfortable, clean and well equipped, it was a joy to spend a week in it. Loved the 1st floor lounge with its views over the valley. This cottage has that cosy feel while also providing plenty of space. Thoroughly recommended.

It is so nice to know you enjoyed your holiday and that Hillcrest was everything you hoped for in a holiday cottage. So pleased you have found Swaledale - it is special; unspoilt, vast, sometimes wild but always mesmerisingly beautiful. Once dicovered, never forgotten. Looking forward to welcoming you back one day.
