Booked this cottage for a between christmas and New year get away for myself and my Husband. We were delighted with the cottage and its facilities. The cottage was very clean upon arrival. The fire was fantastic and really created a cosy feeling to the cottage. The rooms are of a good size too. The cottage is set right in the heart of Robins Hoods Bay and as you have a parking permit it made it much easier to get to the cottage instead of having to lug all of your bags up and down the very steep hill. It is a home away from home and the only thing I could not find was a hairdryer but everything else is supplied. Ground floor is an open plan kitchen/living room, floor 1 is a large bedroom with two single beds and also a bunk bed, 2nd floor is the main bedroom with a double bed and the bathroom is also on this level with a bath and shower over.

Stayed at the gorgeous Heather cottage for a week in Feb.
Everything you need with homely quality fittings.
Wonderful winter bolt hole with great wood burning stove, lovely walks and great pub entertainment with live music and quizzes.
All eateries recommended too!

“Lovely cottage”
Reviewed 7 February 2016 for a stay in February 2016

Just back from a weekend at Heather cottage. Ticked every box for us - perfect location, right in the middle of the old town, immaculate but cosy and full of charm, comfortable bed, plentiful hot water, furnishings/pictures chosen with care and good quality. Parking permit in the lower car park a real bonus - I wouldn't want to stay anywhere without parking nearby having seen people struggle up and down that famous hill over the weekend! Loved the wood burning stove and used it on and off all weekend while chilling out and reading by the fire. A truly relaxing and lovely weekend - thank you to the great care and attention to detail paid by the owners. Hope to be back PS Dolphin pub just round the corner with great beer, ambience and fabulous food. Couldn't have been any better, we even got some sunshine today!
