Absolute heaven , we stayed in the hot tub room and it is beautiful.
The bed is so comfy , the room is spotless, there’s everything you need for a very pleasant stay. The host mike makes you feel very at ease .
Breakfast was delicious and the location is excellent.
We’ve visited knaresborough before and noticed teardrop cottage as we’ve walked along the waterside ,
So glad we booked it , would highly recommend

I stayed here for 2 nights on business. Mike was very good at communicating via phone & text. I got there late on night 1 (12:30) but managed to arrange suitable way to get to my room.

Could only manage breakfast one morning but it was great with really nice cold orange juice and quality filter coffee.

Would highly recommend this beautiful location and well presented B&B.

We stayed for one night. The room was spacious enough for my 6ft 3 partner to feel comfortable. The room was thoughtfully supplied with refreshments. Although a shower cap would have been useful. The welcome and attention to detail if the owner Mike was exceptional and we intend to return. A great base to travel around too.

Nice cottage B&B, the entrance hall and breakfast room is lovely, but unfortunately the pink room, where we stayed was far too small and the floor boards so creaky and loud, we constantly feared waking up the people in the other rooms up. It was nicely presented, but not much room to move and no dressing table or shelf to really put things out properly, only just very small surfaces to use. Our personal opinion was the room was not luxury as advertised, but a pleasant one and I'm sad to say we didn't think it was worth £100 per night. The wet room was tiny and uncomfortable to use, the handle on the inside kept falling off in our hand and there was a hole in the ceiling by the shower. The breakfast was lovely though and the complimentary wine was a nice touch. Mike seemed to be a nice, helpful and friendly host.

Thank you for your kind review .
We truly welcome all feedback as we aim to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.
The door handle was also replaced during your stay.
All guest have full use of our lounge..and can enjoy fabulous views of the river and viaduct from our roof terrace.
The room also has a large wardrobe and a 4 drawer chest for storage.
We also have a rug which covers a great deal of the original floor boards.

With our best wishes.
The Teardrop team.
