First of all I would like to say this is a lovely hotel, very pleasant bar area, lots of paintings, lamps, ornaments dotted all over bar which you’re able to buy. Most of staff really helpful and friendly.
But.... we came here as it advertised as dog friendly. We knew we wouldn’t be able to go in restaurant which was understandable. On arrival lovely young girl checked us in. We asked if we would be able to come in the bar with the dog. Told by another member of staff” if no one is in the bar , but we’re really busy from 7 so I wouldn’t bother” . Also breakfast included but would have to have in the room. So quite disappointed we went to our room. Clean but really small, felt like everything had been squashed in. So having breakfast in here sat on bed to eat wouldn’t have been a good option! Wasn’t aware at that time that our door opened straight on to hotel kitchen door! Which later became obvious with noise and cooking smells til half past 10. Anyway we went out for a few hours and came back to bar, no one was in there apart from a large group of people for a birthday party, who all couldn’t get enough of our little dog! We asked if we would be able to eat in bar area, and the young girl from check in allowed us, bless her, a little gem. Did feel like we shouldn’t have been there as other member of staff looked non too happy. So ate quickly. Food absolutely gorgeous. So no complaints.
This is the second time we’ve stayed in a “ dog friendly” hotel which wasn’t actually dog friendly. So was very disappointed although we enjoyed the weekend in Cleethorpes, as everywhere else is dog friendly! Just because we have a dog doesn’t mean we are happy to stay in the worst room you can find with all the noise from kitchen, and no facilities to take our dog. At the end of the day you want people with dogs or you don’t.
Would I come again? On our own yes, as the other rooms look lovely, but definitely not with a dog.
A big thank you to the young girl, sorry didn’t get your name, who was lovely and pleasant every time we saw her. Lovely cleaning ladies who we saw on checkout. Funnily enough all the guests fussed our little dog so much, I don’t think anyone would have minded him being in the bar.

Stay away from this place! Very misleading menu, and then when approached the staff and owner was told to leave! Customer service is a joke, and the place is just dirty!STAY CLEAR YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

We arrived for tea at 5.20 for a 5.30 table and was seated straight away.
For starters there was a garlic mushrooms and a olive and ciabatta bread for 2. Both were nice.
Mains were sirloin steak, rump steak and a lamb shanks. All were cooked beautiful.
There was only one dessert ordered a chocolate brownie and it was also very good.
This is not the cheapest restaurant but is certainly one of the best we have been too in a long time.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant again.

Welcome nearly as cold as the weather. Food order taken with no mention of wine list or water. Asked for wine list when starters arrived. Bottle arrived and was dumped on table with a "there's your wine". No offer to pour. The experience felt rushed. Our food wasn't bad. Some people complained about steaks and were told they didn't have to pay so that's a plus. For £45 a head it's not good enough. Will not return.

Second visit and even better than the last time.

Very clean and so tastefully decorated. Warm welcome as was the last time.

It’s very close to the sea and some rooms have sea views.

It has a well stocked bar and fantastic restaurant that you can use without an overnight stay.

Free car park thrown in. What more do you need?

Thanks to all. We will return later this year.
